Error using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE

Dear Experts,

I am trying to change the outbound delivery using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE. I have the following error when i try to change the item netweight, gross weight, Weight unit in picking tab of the delivery.

Error in document XXXXXXXXX item XXXX (quantity consistency check)

please let me know if this BAPI can be used to change the netweight(LIPS-NTGEW), gross weight(LIPS-BRGEW) and weight unit (LIPS-GEWEI).

Also let me know if there's any other BAPI that i can use to change the above fields.
