Regarding List Variant

Hi i have customised F.19 and added a new column in the output.Now Problem is that new column should be added

in the list variant i can add it if i run the report but report output is too big so it should be scheduled background in production

so is there any other way to chnage the list variant without executing the report????

Hi,

Runthe Trx in foreground mode & get the results. Once u have the output build the List variant & save it as a Default variant (This can be done in MANAGE Variant.)... Once u have done this, u will getting output for ur default variant only... U shld have authorizations to maintian Global varints on Lists.......

U can also check Docuemntaion for F.19....

Hi,

I'm also interested in maintaining variant in a specific report.

I created a user specific variant of display in the report.

I would like to get automatically this display variant to appear on the first screen of selection in the field "output option / display variant".

I saved the selection screen as variant but when I launched the transaction, the selection criteria are empty.

Can you help?

Hi Revant,

I came across your threads pertaining to the addition of new field in the output list of f.19. Now I got the same requirement and I have modified the structure of LIST_ITEM but I am not getting the field catalogue out from the FM REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATMERGE.

So could you please let me know how you achieved this kind requirement.
