Web Interface for creating a sales order

Hi all,

I want to edit the process of creating a sales order; ie just keep mandatory fields to ease the process.

Please let me know if there is any web interface package which allows me to have an interface the way I want for the same transaction?

If you are talking about a business package to be deployed on the SAP Enterprise Portal, you have to search for the same in <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/contentportfolio">Portal content Portfolie</a>.

If you are talking about a general web interface, you will to create one according your needs.

I am working on SAP R/3 system, SD module. I want to change the interface for "creating a sales order" (teansaction code VA01) and make it very simple and user friendly.

But I dont want to code the entire sequence but use the same programs which are present in the system but have a different interface.

Let me know if there is any way to just edit the screens and make them simple; not necessarily it has to be a web interface, it can be anything; can be ABAP itself.

Later I pan to implement AI agents for decision making at some level.

Hi Apurv,

There are few customizing options from SPRO to modify few screens elements for the sales transactions.

Apart from this you can use transaction variants to mask or default few fields.

Other then this you can only have to custom code the entire transaction which is not recommended.

Hi,

Like mentioned in the above POST you can probably change the way the screen looks like, but I don't think it will give you the simplicity that you are looking for. If you want to be very simple, there is no other way than doing custom coding, whether its ABAP / Java.
