You can select the categories 0 to 4 for your table. Each category is assigned a specific fixed storage area value in the database. 
When you create a table, initial space is saved for it in the database. If more space is required later as a result of data that has been

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had created a ZTABLE with Size category(Technical Settings) as 1 which has a capacity of 1,400 to ,5700.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just in case at a later date if the no.fo records gets increased will the system take care of the size category by itself&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;or it has to  be changed again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;K.Kiran&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Now as soon as ur table reaches the 101th record anothe 1 to 100 records will be allocated to the tablespace of this table, thereby wasting table space. If you plan ahead this wastage can be avoided.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;@Sumit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;see. when you declare a size category the system saves that much space as default for the data base. and each time mroe records come it increases the size by that size category value.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when we know that there can be HUGE data coming to the DB for that table we define it as larger category from the beginning which wont be needing adjustments in underlying database.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;got my point?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
