    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Go to SE11 enter the table name and click on indexes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;a subscreen(Indexes for table) appears in that click on Create button&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it will aks for the index name , enter the index name and click on tick mark&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;then in the Dict : Maintain Index screen enter the fields which u want under the&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;fieldname.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Order in which u place the fields in the index is very important, it must&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;in the same order of the database table.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ask your BASIS administrators to update the database statistics for table once the index has been created so that SAP takes the index appropriately.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ShreeMohan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Gurus!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have created a new index in the table VBAK  in SBX but I get an information message under it which says "Index does not exist in database system ORACLE". I followed the steps but somehow it didnt create an index in the database.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could anyone tell me why is it so that the index is not created ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
