Problem with F4 help.

Hi,

for f4 helphould use FM 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'.

If you hav eused it then paste the code .may be some mistake with the export parametrs.

Hi again,

The EXP field is checked.

The problem is for the standard transaction code(mm03). For the material number the search help doesn't pick the value i click.

The same problem is there in all the tcodes where matnr is used.

Which function module are u using?

if you are using F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST then provide value for return_tab to capture the retrieved data.

The problem is in the standard tcodes. Not with user developed programs.

If I have understood it right... you are using MM03 transaction. Which is only for viewing... Did you try in MM01 or MM02?

Hi,

1. If you run your search help, are the values to be exported in darker color (BLUE)?

2. Check your data element if it is the same with the MATNR used by MM* tcodes.

Is the field editable, if no, using the F4 will not change the value even if it executes a search help, no data will be sent back.

Also press F1/F9 to get the name of the search help and execute some test via SE11.

I checked the search help. the material number (matnr) is nt shown in dark blue color. What should be done to make it blue.

Hi,

What I meant in dark blue was - it should be darker than the fields that are not to be exported.

I have tried creating a new search help, and when the EXP field is ticked, it will be automtically have a darker blue color (compared to those fields - EXP column not ticked).

I got what you meant. Actually the export parameter is checked.

If the same field is used as elementary search help, it works fine. The problem nw is when it is used as collective search help.

The collective search help used in the standard is MAT1_A.

Hi,

Have you tried putting the parameter assignment - in the included search helps tab.

Also, what selection method are you using? Is it coming from the standard?

Check if your collective search help Imp field is ticked. It should be ticked so that it will import the values coming from your elementary search help.
