BDC Call Transaction

Hi All,

Using BDC Call transaction method, I need to set the value for one screen field. Transaction 'APPCREATE' Screen Field 'DYNP_RHPA-SEARK2'.

I used the Below code.

DATA class_name TYPE c LENGTH 30 VALUE 'CL_SPFLI_PERSISTENT'.

DATA: bdcdata_wa  TYPE bdcdata,
      bdcdata_tab TYPE TABLE OF bdcdata.
DATA opt TYPE ctu_params.

CLEAR bdcdata_wa.
bdcdata_wa-program  = 'SAPLRHPA_SHOW'.
bdcdata_wa-dynpro   = '0990'.
bdcdata_wa-dynbegin = 'X'.
bdcdata_wa-FNAM     = 'DYNP_RHPA-SEARK2'.
bdcdata_wa-FVAL     = '00040412'.
APPEND bdcdata_wa TO bdcdata_tab.

CALL TRANSACTION 'APPCREATE' USING bdcdata_tab OPTIONS FROM opt.

I used this code for SE38[Testing]. Its workig properly for SE38 and its not working for 'APPCREATE'.

Can anyone help me with this?

Run a recording from SM35 and fill your BDCDATA according to record result/ I guess you are not filling BDCDATA correctly. There is even no 'BDC_OKCODE'. Also you can run in foreground using mode A to see where is the problem.

Check the exactly screen values, Fields Name, Screen Number, Program Name.

Thanks for the replies. Now I can able to call the transaction and pass the values to the screen fields using the BDC Call transaction Method.

But now the problem is if I using BDC call transaction method for calling the transaction means my workflow is not getting triggered.

I used BUS7026 for my workflow. If I manually call the transaction 'appcreate' and enter the appraisal datas means workflow is triggered perfectly.

But when i use the BDC call transaction its not getting triggered.

what could be the problem? Any one please help me on this?
