Error 51

Hello Everybody,

I am trying to Post IDoc from one system to another. When I sent the material through BD10 it sent sucessfully. But in the recieving system I see the following errors -

51 - Error: Application document not posted

62 - IDoc passed to application

64 - IDoc ready to be transferred to application

50 - IDoc added

Can someone tell me what are the possible solutions for this please?

Help needed. I appreciate all the help extended.

Use proper subject line in future

You cannot judge the error exactly from Error 51.

It may be because of not same configuration for materials in both systems.....

Try to analyse the idoc from BD87 for more information.

The IDoc has the status 51.

Can someone give me the steps how we can resolve the error.

Follow the steps below,

1. Message type Process Code

2. Functiona module assignment TCODE BD51.

3. Functional module and the message type TCODE WE57

4. Function module to the process code used TCODE WE42

and check whether the Input file is available or not ?

Just go through Logical Errors in the Application

Ok......

You know which program Triggering your IDOC and also you know Basic type and Message type , So Go to WE57 Transaction then search which FM triggering your IDOC by using your Msg type and Basic Type. after getting the FM.

Go to Tcode WE19, Give the Idoc number and execute , in the second screen you will find INBOUND FUNCTION MODULE button give the FM name which one got it from WE57 and check the IN DEBUG MODE and execute in forground.

Hi ,

if the data is locked the idoc will be in Pratially posted(status 52 ) or not posted ( status 51)..

so run the Program RBDMANI2 for status 51 & 52..

go to t-code swo1-->IDOCSTATUS --> enter idoc number execute ..

first run method -->Processing of IDoc Containing Errors

next run method-->IDOC.StatusProcess

and chage the status from 51 or 52 to 53....
