LSMW Uploading error

hi,

I'm uploading some material mater data. but i'm getting errors like

consuption period error,

forcast period error,

conversion period

error in BMMH6-GEWEI,

and BMMH1-GEWEI and

also getting error like Transaction code/Does not exist (table T130M)

how i'll clear this error.

Hi,

The error in GEWEI is coming because you are passing the UOM in external format

Pass the UOM in internal format. Use the FM CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_INPUT to convert the external UOM into internal UOM. Do not directly move from source field to target field.

This problem comes because of the converstion exit on the MEINS data element.

The errors consuption period error, forcast period error, conversion period are coming maybe because of again incorrect values maintained against the same or the master data is incomplete.

Before uploading via LSMW just try to create one material via MM01 with the same data to check wht errors you might encounter.

hi,

uploading data through mm01 directly its working porperly.

But in LSMW Direct input process i'm getting error what i metioned before.

In direct input using Obeject is 0020

Method 0000

Program name RMDATIND

but in final process i'm getting that kind of error.

Any solution for that.

Hi,

As i told you earlier use the FM before passing the values to the GEWEI field from the source field into the target field.

Check the fields in which you are getting the errors if there is any conversion exit.

You will find in the domain of the field. Use the corresponding value to transfer the value from the source field into the internal format which is required in SAP.

Say for example check the unit of measurement DM3 in T006 table.

Just see how in the table it is stored. The value will be CDM.
