rfbibl00 error

hello all,

Getting this error when trying to post accural deferrals through rfbiblo00

Posting key 40 does not permit specification of a special G/L indicator

I am setting the value:

lv_rec-newbs = lv_pstkey.

The only options for lv_pstkey are 50 or 40 which are for debit and credit entries.

any ideas to why I am getting this?

it is funny... if I set the lv_rec-newbs to null or '/' it says that it cannot find '//' in table TBSL however, if I explicitly set it it gives that error. No Matter what Value I put in there...

I think you are setting NEWUM (the special G/L indicator) to 'X' when its 40(credit). can you check your input .

Dont give any value in that field, or set it to blank .
