LFA1-MCOD1 not updating

Hi ,

When creating a vendor, the name1 and city has to be copied to LFA1-MCOD1 , LFA1-MCOD3 respectively. For some vendors its not updating in the table LFA1. Please provide some information on this problem.

Hi,

We are trying to create a vendor in Tcode FK01 , when saving it will be updating the Standard table LFA1, When we see the entries in the table some records is not having the MCOD1,MCOD3 fields updated.

We need exactly where these fields MCOD1,MCOD3 are getting updated in the standard program of FK01.

Try to check the routine MATCHCODEFELDER_FUELLEN defined in the include MF02KFM0

Based on the configuration settings on company code it will update the MCOD1 & MCOD3, plz check it with ur functional folks.

Hi,

Even for the same company code .. For some vendors MCOD1 is updated but for some other vendors its not updated.

It seems there isn't any particular condition in order to avoid to fill MCOD1, it should depend on how the table TFMC is set.

So try to control a case in which the field MCOD1 is not filled: if the program runs the routine it means that field is cleared in other place: so u can set a watchpoint in order to undestand where that field is cleared.

Hello,

For anyoone who may be interested, SAP has released a Z report to correct discrepancies between MCOD1 and NAME1 fields.

Please check the note 544868.

The updation of field MCOD* has been brought by note 1009172 and you can even check the form MATCHCODEFEFLDER_FUELLEN into MF02KFM0 used by program SAPFM02K.
