What does function module IDOC_INPUT_MATFET? I know it is related to Material Master but not sure what is its exact functionality.

This fm fetches the basic data from the SDR for specific material by creating an IDOC at SDR that is sent to the local box.

Can you explain more clearly. I am a functional consultant. So I dont know what is SDR and local box and all.

Hi Subhashni,

The Fm will request the basic information from the source system. For this the material should first exist in the system which is requesting this!!
