Selection screen

Dear All

I just made small change in my program in development server and transported to application server. but

i unable to see my output of code in application program

That is

At First

1. I added Batch Option in my selection screen

2. And also made required change in select Query

3. I Tested in Development Code was working FIne and also i was getting output

4. when i transported to application server , i not able see my Batch option in Selection Screen but all changes in program has been reflected but not in selection screen ..

Note : I tried twice and transported request but still no reflection in selection screen

Hi anand,

Have you saved and activated all elements you are using in your selection screen.

Can i have the program name to check the problem.

I have SAVE And ACTIVATEd And Also tested . Its working Fine Dev but Not In Application server

Hi,

This is becuse might be ur selection screen objects are not included in the transport request.

Please check whether ur transport request contains the objects of selection screen or not.

Gto SE10-> objectlist and check whether there is any object with R3TR and REPT.

You TR# request not included the objects of selection scree.

To include these objects.

1 Open the program in change mode goto test-elements->selection text make any changes here and save these changes and activate the program.

Include the previous TR# to this new TR# and ttransport this new request to QA.

2 Create a transport of coppies.

Dublle click on the request. goto object tab

Program Id- R3TR

Object REPT

Object name- Ur program name and save it.

Now inclue ur previous request in this trasport of copies and transport this request to QA.

Always chek the object tab of transport request before transporting it to QA to varify that all the required objects are included in this.

Can u please check the status of ur transport request from T-Code STMS_IMPORT in QA system and also provide the screen shot of object list of ur transport request via T-Code SE10.

try one thing... just copy the entire thing in Dev server to another object(with a diff name ofcoz)

activate the new one...

put the new one in a TR and Transport it to ur app server,,,

and check this new one if its working fine or not... thn may be u can get a link why its not working

Check if your selection texts id saved and activated properly....as well as attached to your transport..

TR has both the objects report source code as well as report source texts so i think there should not be any problem with TR#.

Now you need to check the log in T-code STMS_IMPORT, whether the request has been trasnported correctly or not because some times it happens that request tranported with errors and due to this problem some of the objects dont transport to QA.

Hi Anand,

1) Check if your selection screen texts are activated. GOTO---->TEXT ELEMENTS.

2) In SE09 you can find include objects button click and save all the objects.

3) for discrepancy compare requests with remote comparison.

4) Check if any previous transports is pending to be moved.

Revert back in case of issues

Try this, it might work. But see your transport request beforehand so that you might be able to notice any changes after the below given process...

1). Go to TCode SE80, enter ur program name and press enter.

2). Your Program name will appear in the right hand pane with the subobjects under it.Now right click on your program name and select ACTIVATE. And press Enter once the Activate screen appears.

3). Check if your transport request is updated with new Subobjects.

Answered - Create a new program
