Refresh Development with Prod. data without losing program versions

Hi,

I need advice on this:

We want to copy testing data from a client in Production server to another client in Development.

This Dev client is having lot of programs/reports which should not get lost/overwritten. Ideally, we

only want to copy data from production only for testing purpose. We want to retain all the programs

currently in Development. There should be no loss to the ABAP developments.

SAP version 4.6c (4.6D Ext kernel)

Yes, there is an option of only copying data betwen servers.

Check with your basis poeple.
