Hi,

Transaction BD87 or WE02. Find your IDoc and drill-down on it. In the IDoc display tree (left side of screen), expand the Status branch. Then expand the status 51 branch and double-click the error message. You should then see the message number and long text.

To analyze the exact cause of the message, you can try a where-used on the message number (via transaction SE91) or search in OSS using the message type and number. Sometimes, you need to reprocess the IDoc and debug the code from which you think the error is being called. This can often reveal what logic actually triggered the message.

Good luck,

James

However In my query I already told you that I am using tcode we02. this is not new to me. I am looking for more detailed decsription. can you please explian me how can I refer OSS notes.

Regards,

Vijay.

Vijay,

I saw the WE02 reference in your original message. I only included it to make it clear that this was one possible starting point (the other was BD87) for drilling down into the error message details (to get the error number and long text) as explained in my reply.

OSS stands for Online Service System and it used to be available via transaction OSS1. OSS is the "old" name for the SAP Service Marketplace "Notes" system found here Note search (old name was OSS). If you have not used the Note search provided by SAP, I highly recommend it. You will find that your life as an SAP professional will be greatly improved. If you have used it but just have not heard it called "OSS" before, now you know...

Cheers,

James
