Field level Authorization in PS

Hi all,

Is it possible to restrict access to some tabs in Network and activity level for transaction CJ20N (Project builder). Basically, I need change access to one tab and display access to all other tabs in Network and acitivity level.

This kind of authorization is NOT possible in PS.

It is not possible to give change access to one tab and display access to other tab.

Hey SM,

I am not sure of restricting access at tab level,

However the network tab in CJ20N is controlled by following objects. You can make the network as all display using these objects.

C_AFKO_ACT

C_AFKO_DIS

C_AFVG_TYP

I will also be interested to see solution on this

However, you can try with SHD0 to create transaction or screen variants and restrict certain fields to display.

Hi Ravi,

The bugger is that the user can navigate back and forth...

Best option is to concentrate on object level security, and where this does not enable the granularity you need, either:

- recondider the requiement and compatibility with other transactions.

- look for an enhancement point.

- etc

That would be my advice.
