BAPI_PO_CREATE1 - Document Date not being taken from input fields

Hi experts.

I'm using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 for creating POs in our system. We need to store an specific date under Document Date field from the PO.

For doing this, I mapped the date from the incoming file into PO_HEADER-CREAT_DATE field (and crossed the PO_HEADERX-CREAT_DATE). POs are created but with the current date instead of the specified when calling the BAPI.

Any help on how to force the date to a previous day?

Hi Iñaki,

I'm not sure you can change the creation date of the PO. It doesn't make sense since you're SAP saves the creation date for auditing purposes.

You can change the document date though.

Ok, but then for changing that Document Date, do you know which field is the one that needs to be populated in the BAPI?

Whatever I write in PO_HEADER-CREAT_DATE it does not do anything.

Hi,

The field is DOC_DATE in the POHEADER, Check the X for the POHEADERX.

Thanks, I was offuscated with PO_HEADER-CREAT_DATE and didn't realize there was another one called DOC_DATE!

Problem solved.
