Dear Experts,

Please give suggestion for this problem .

scenario:

Against a goods reservation user wants do the picking and then post the IM documents and WM documents (ie TO creation confirmations) in background. The system is configured for FIFO picking strategy. The user wants the system to suggest oldest bin from which material is to be picked before beginning the physical picking activity in the warehouse. Only after duly validating the material details and bin the user wants to post the IM document and then wm document. It is desired to know whether there exists any function module etc where this information already exists.

Hi!

What exactly do you need as FM? You have already the FIFO strategy and the follow on documents can be created after confirmation of the user. Sounds like a complete process definition to me.

Hi!

Have a look at FM L_TO_PREPARE_ITEM_INT, there is also a small documentation.

But please check, if you can benefit of enhancements (SMOD) MWMTO004. Here some exits can influence the stock removal strategy. Maybe it's possible to place somewhere a small popup to get user confirmation, so you don't need to program all the rest of LT06.

Hi,

I am facing same case, please let me know if you have any user exit name or function module. I am using transaction MB1B. While entering the quantity it should pick from the oldest available stock.

Thanks for your help.There is an exit while entering in the quantity field, exit_sapmm07m_009. I think it can be useful.
