how to find implemented notes in a program.

Hi Experts,

In a program I found some code is written in betwwen two comments and the comments are the number of the note.

Please tell me how I can find weather that note is already released for tthe program or it is just mentioned over there.

In the forum I saw a method stating the use of SNOTES transaction, but it is not working for APO.

Kindly, help.

HI,

If in the comments you see the note number; it means that the note changes have been applied.

It might be applied by someone via SNOTE or the changes have come due to a support pack application.

If the lines of code are commented( If it begins with *) it is not included in the program.

you can check in SAP service market place whether a particular note is released or not and if released what all valid release it has.

The line in which the code number is mentioned is commented, not the code following that.

Kindly tell what wil be the scenario in this case.

In transaction SNOTE, via the menu go to Note Browser and enter the note number to determine the status of the note in your system.

Hi,

It means SAP has commented the line in that note.

Check in service market place the note details and you can check the explanation.
