Reg: Get fields data in Table maintainence generator

Dear All,

I created a Z table.I got a requirement of updating the data in another table automatically whenever a record is created in Z table. So i used At save event (02) in Table Maintainence generator.But I the fields

values of database table blank when it reaches to the event and in database the records are updating only after execution of these events .So how can i capture the database fields value at the event?...

Hi,

Generate the Table maintainance of That table with Maintenance type 2step .

give

Maint. Screen No. Overview screen 1

Single screen 2

Doble click on single screen 2

Then it will open the screen number 2 in flow logic where you will find number of

module

in process after input

write a new module like module inset_entry_table_abc and double click on this module it will create include for that module in that check the sy-ucomm and if it is save command the take value from screen field and insert into table ABC.

You are using wrong Table Maintainence generator event , check event 01 .

try this event : 01 Before saving the data to the database , in the form_routine enter the

routine name and press enter u will get editor button in change mode

click on it to write the source code for the routine.
