sending material using idos'c

hai spokes,

iam new to ale concept..

i have one req ,

i want to send material from one server to another server..

the material should be transported to traget server with proper mappings.

example..

i have careted one mat in ser1

matno 102 and material type:FERT

in server2 it should be

matno 102 and material type :HAWA

can any one help me how to acheive this..

presently iam using stand alone concept..

Hi ajay,

Follow these steps:

1.Got WE31 and create segment type with the required fields.Go to EDIT and press SET Release.

2.Go to WE30 and create an IDOC type and assign your segment type to it.Go to EDIT->Set release

3.Go to WE81 and crearte a message type.

4.Go to WE82 and assign message type to Idoc type.

5.Register Partner Profile in WE20.

6.Assign the Inbound and Outbound Parameters.

Go to BD10 and put in the Material No. u want to send and press execute. It will send Idoc. Now in the receiving system, u have to write Inbound Process Code that will change the Mat.Typ from FRET to HAWA

For Sending the materail using ALE can be done by using the Change pointers .

Activate the change Pointers for the Message type MATMAS.

Using the T.code - Bd64 Activate the change Pointers .

Using the T.code-Bd50 Activate Chnage pointers for the mesage type and then Create

Distrubution Model view in the Using the transaction Code : Bd64

Create idocs to the message type using the BD21.

Also You can send the material using the T.Code Bd10. To change the material type

You need the Write ENhancement and change the Idoc_data.

i found one exit for this inbound function module.

module IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01

exit name is EXIT_SAPLMV02_002

i created a project and put a break point in it,

when i use tcode bd11 to receive material this break point is not triggering..
