Table control in display mode

Hello All,

Please tell me how to show table control in display mode,

My requirement is , whenever ill put T-code for table maintainace it should be appear in display mode.

Table control can be made in display mode by disabling the input.

loop at screen

screen-input = '0'.

modify screen.

endloop.

Put the above section in PBO.

table control or table maintenance?

Ok, let me assume that you have table mainteance view done for ZTEST table with Z_V_TABLE (maintenance view generated)

create a tcode now

1) transaction with parameters - se93 - tcode Z_TABLE

2) Transaction SM30

3) skip initial screen checked

4) maintain below values in default values in se93

VIEWNAME Z_V_TABLE

SHOW X

now when we run with Z_TABLE table it will always show in display mode.

Please look at the good example in ABAPDOCU transaction:

Path: ABAP User Dialogs-->Screens-->Complex Screen Elements-->Table Control with Modifications.

Hope this would give you complete picture on Disabling or Enabling the table control.

Dear Manohar,

I did the same thing which u mentioned but while executing T-code at the top it show heading in big letters ''Change View Table .......................'

thats only i want as " Display View Table ...........'

you mean it is actually showing in display mode but the text is stating as 'Change'? Strange it works fine for me showing 'Display view.....".

Check in tcode and makesure you only give 'SHOW' as 'X'.

The structure SCREEN contains the same components as system table SCREEN. The component SCREEN-NAME is the name of the screen element that creates the column. The screen output attribute can be changed directly in the ABAP program using MODIFY SCREEN within the loop LOOP AT SCREEN. And also put a sy-tcode check before changing the attributes.
