Hi all

I want to execute BDC session method without going to SM35 & periodically. I want execute it directly when I am executing my BDC program.

Hi,

You can SUBMIT to RSBDCSUB program from ur bdc program.

use call transaction 'SM35' in your coding .

HI all

Thanks for your reply.

This I have tried using submit RSBDCSUB.

But when I execute my program the session name is passed to it, but then I have to manually execute it.

I don't want to do it manually and want to execute it daily. This can be done by using SM36, but is there any way of doing it by writing some code?

If you want to Auto submit BDC for specific program?

-> If its Custom program you can call RSBDCSUB and pass the Session name created by program.

-> If its standard program you can schedule RSBDCSUB as step 2 Job after the BDC creation Job finishes. But the session name has to be same for all.

If program generates different session names all the time then you can write custom program to get the name of session from BDC table and submit RSBDCSUB accordigly. Do F1 in SM35 and you will get the name of Master BDC table.

If you want to Auto submit BDC for all programs?

Submit RSBDCSUB with session name *.
