Adding Fields to Sales order

Hi ,

Please tell me all the steps required to add Fields in Sales Order.

When i go to Screen painter "SAPMV45A" "4459" to change layout it is asking for Access key. Do i need to get Access key from Admin.Also after getting the access key how to proceed further to add these fields just underneath the existing fields.Please tell me any specific precautions to follow since this may run the whole transaction to dump if i do anything wrong.

YOu are trying to modify SAP standard program. You must get access key from SAP to modify it.

Either you can modify using user EXITS if available.

You cant change SAP stuff directly!

This kind of stuff is done through IMG. Go to transaction SPRO and look for customization options within SD.

Do let us know the exact details, someone might be able to help you better.
