BTE 1140 not getting called by BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST

Dear All,

We are facing a problem whereby the BTE 1140 (copied to our own Function Module) is not getting called when we post a document using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST.

Please comment on the same.

BTE 1140 "exclude Ok codes with posting of documents" is intended to work interactively with transactions FB60, FB50, FB70, FV60, FV50, FV70 FB01

Why do you want to use such a BTE during a BAPI call (without transactional interaction)

Hi Raymod,

Thanks for your valuable input. However, I have got a requirement whereby I want to update the data into one of my custom fields (which is not a part of BAPI Structure) and that is the time when this BTE can help me.

As you told the BTE works fine with Transactions but in this case how can I make the BTE code work in case of BAPI Posting?

Do I have to paste the full BTE code in the program where I have used the BAPI?

In which table are your custom fields to fill ?

The custom field is in table BSEG, BSIS, FAGLFLEXA.

Did you go through OSS [Note 487722 - Using EXTENSION1 for accounting BAPIs|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/487722] which should help you.
