field exit

hello!

i created field exit for data elemnt EXART and assigned it

to program sapmv45a screen 4003.

when i go to transaction VA02 and double click on the matnr field in the item line i move to another screen in tab SALES A.

there is a field Bus Transaction type that whenever i choose it, it will activate the field exit.

i don't see the results at all. how can i debug the field exit?

You can't debug a field-exit, but you can download the data into file.

So in your field-exit insert a piece of code to open, write and close a file and then see the data file by trx AL11.

This is only way to "debug" a field-exit.

you can also issue a message to check whether the field exit is working or not.

u can't debugh the field exist code but the right way is you can give some message .
