Please let me know about lsmw events and how can i use it? Is there any area where i can write the code? How?

Below are the events used in LSMW.

Events in LSMW.

__ Begin_of_record.

__ End_of_record.

__GLOBAL_DATA__

__BEGIN_OF_PROCESSING__

__BEGIN_OF_TRANSACTION__

__END_OF_TRANSACTION__

__END_OF_PROCESSING__

__FORM_ROUTINES__

You can find these events in the step Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules

You can double click on them and write the code within.

in the STEP 5 Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules you have to write your own code.

after filed assignment double click there you find the text editor there you can write all your ABAP code....

you can do the goble declaration here __GLOBAL_DATA__ in step 5

The events in lsmw

__ Begin_of_record.

In this you can declare the variables, internal tables, constants etc...

__BEGIN_OF_PROCESSING__ (this is used for before data processing starts)

__BEGIN_OF_TRANSACTION__ (this is used for before transaction processing starts)

In this you can write all the select statements

__END_OF_TRANSACTION__ (this is used for after transaction processing finishes)

__END_OF_PROCESSING__ (this is used for after data processing finishes)

__FORM_ROUTINES__ (In this you can write all the form routines ABAP routines)
