ABAP Modification Operations Switch Off

in our server some abap program protected by Modification overview

when i switch off the modification assistance

its look like a normal editor otherwise

a flaged button displayed on application tool bar with Insert - Replace - Delete - Cancel buttons

and editor in gray mode.

how can i create this type of program.

Hi,

This is not a specific type of program but that the SAP client has not been configured to allow changes in programs.

That is why you get the modification assistance.

You can modify standard programs without that switches only if the original system is the same as your (ID of the SAP system - 3 letters for example ID5 / EVC ........ depends on the company name conventions). You can check in table TADIR the original system. If you wish, you can change it directly there, but it is not a good manner to do.
