DUMP while running my import FM

Hi ALL,

I have import request and i got sucess .My 3 function modules are import to client system.2 FM are working properly but 1 function module is going for DUMP.

I have gone dump analysis its saying

An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below

. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR',

was neither

caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure

"MO_IMPORT_MODIFICATIONS" "(METHOD)"

"Length error occurred during the IMPORT statement."

"The system found when importing that the target object was longer or

shorter than the object to be imported."

where did i mistake while import ? or while transport?

That FM is working properly in our DEV.

It seems like structure mismathc in both the systems.

Check the structure/tables for changing/tables/import parameters.

hi..

Just i import the function modules,my 2 function module are working properly but this fm is going for dump.Same function module is already exist with diffrent name and it is working but why this fm is going for DUMP...It should create the structure and all bec.iam imported the transport here.

check the elements you changed from previous version to this one.... looks like some field are not type compatible or structures might have been changed.. check them..

hey

imediately after throwing dump

check the debugger at the top of the dump screen

where u can see

which parameter is throwing dump exactly

and try to analyse that particular parameter

in both developement as well as quality system

Hi..

I am not able to enter into function module to check.When iam giving name in se37 and display its going for dump.

in debug i got " Length error occurred during the IMPORT statement." this error .

how can i rectify this?

Hi,

Try from SE80...give the function group and press enter..you will get the list of FM under this FG now double click on the FM..

If you go from se37 and se80 same result ..its going for DUMP.

it giving me error in this SAP std method MO_IMPORT_MODIFICATIONS

Length error occurred during the IMPORT statement.

<<<<< IMPORT old_import TO old_import

old_export TO old_export

old_change TO old_change

No guys there is no display...

Iam able to Execute my function module press F8 but iam not able to display or change my z function modules.
