EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (mandatory group missing)

I try to send AIDMATMAS IDOC but i get a following error for some materials

The segment group E1MARAM has the attribute 'Mandatory' in the syntax description of the basic type MATMAS01 (customer enhancement ).

When I go to we30 to look at fields of the MATMAS01 segment.It contains 118 fields.But which of these fields are mandatory?

How can i check mandatory fields of a segment?Because when I look at an IDOC message successfully sent for AIDMATMAS, not all of them (118 fields) are filled up. only half of them but it is sent successfully.

Hi,

In your case , you need to check atleast 1 field should be filled in the segment E1MARAM, as the segment E1MARAM is mandatory.

There is nothing like some fields within the segment are mandate.

Moreover you should know functionally which fields are required to send to other system to create a record in other system.
