Program launching history

Hi there, I've got such a small question ...

... I need to clean a bit in our workbench, there are some programs which I don't know nothing about (who uses it and what for).

My question is if there is some way to get program launching history? I mean it would suffice if I know which user and when launched some specific Z* program, I could find the user and ask him about program then.

I'd be thankful for small tip. Greetings. P.

You Can Make use of the table TRDIR which has fields like

NAME ABAP Program Name

CNAM Author

CDAT Created on ..etc,

You can use transaction STAD to search stats records for a particular program/transaction.

The stats reside on the file system and are overwritten in a cyclic manner, so if the programs have not been used for some time the stats will have been overwritten. But it is a place you could start looking at to see if the programs are in current use.
