It is made automatically in ABAP. You just have to place the RFC call where you need it.

Krisztian

Hi Peter,

I already do that but the problem is that for every RFC I call with destination and have many call to the connection, I want to know if there is a way to do that in one time.

What i do now in the program is :

CALL FM 'ABC'
DESTINATION dest

CALL FM 'ABCD'
DESTINATION dest

CALL FM 'ABCDE'
DESTINATION dest

.....so on

I want to avoid the different call's and (if there is way in abap) open the connection in the start of the program and close it at the end.

BR

Nina

Edited by: Nina C on Apr 28, 2009 3:11 PM

ABAP doesn't provide this functionality for (synchronous) RFC calls. So for every new call a new connection will be opened and closed (implicitely).

It would be an option to create a new RFC in your remote system, in which (maybe even depending on some parameters) you call all these RFC's in the same system (so without the DESTINATION) at once.
