Hi,

Can u please explain in detail your problem? When you scan with barcode scanner 8-digit or 13-digit (depending on your standard) number should be filled in appropriate sap field, right? Can you scan anything and where you want barcode number to be written? Also you need to define in sap which goods you have and then descriptions should automaticly be written on screen.

maybe I didn't catch your problem, please give some more details.

Regards,

nihad

I have a barcode scanner connected as a keyboard wedge to a computer. We have a custom screen we created. After the user scans in a bar code, is their a way in SAP to automatically click a button or hit a function key so that the user doesn't have to perform this action?

Use Proper subject line for your Future questions

Edited by: Vijay Babu Dudla on Apr 23, 2009 10:05 AM

Once we scan the bar code the value does appear on the screen. What I am trying to understand is after the scan and the value appears if there is a way to automatically hit the button a user would hit or the function key that represents the button. The goal is so that the user doesn't have to hit the buton or funtion key to do further processing.

Hi

i know what u want, but i had the same problem. I had to a radio frecuency PDA that read barcodes, we tried the same, but it is posible, the standard of SAP doesnt do and also we couldnt make that. Because the in our case the long of the barcode was not the same, so it was not possible to do when the field is fulled up trigger another thing.

probably it is not possible

Regards,.
