Changed of datatype effecting the program

Hi Gurus!

I chnaged the data type from char 24 to dats of a field in my ztable and adjusted the table accordingly. This table was created for a specific program to upoad data into the ztable. So I went into my program and chaged the lenghth of the date field from 24 to the date field lenght i.e. When I do a syntax check on the program it gives me an information messageas follows.

The data type ZWELL_NTS can be enhanced in any way. After a structure

enhancement, this assignment or parameter might be syntactically

incorrect . . . . . . . . .

What should I be doing so that this syntax is eliminated or is it that this wont effect my program in any way?

Hi,

Maintain the Enhancement Category using Menu path Extras->Enhancement Category

But even after maintaining teh enhancemnet category it still gives me the information with the same message.

How do i get eliminated of this messge? form my program, before changing the dataelemnt type it was all ok and theer was no message in my program while doing the syntax check.

When I did an extended program checck, it gives me error at the following code part saying :

No EXCEPTION to set SY_SUBRC Declared for CALL FUNCTION 'DOWNLOAD'

Thus the value of SY-SUBRC is always 0

Actually here I geta pop up screen asking for the data to be transfered in ASC or DTA format to the file indicated . As soon as I click transfer it goes to runtime.
