ALV fieldcatalog for runtime structure

Hi All,

My requirement is to display ALV report for any table that user enters in the selection screen. Say user enters mara then mara table records should display..if user enters makt then makt table records should display. How to preperare field catalog when i dont know the structure of the table before..

Pls help me out.

Hi Mallika,

You can use the FM 'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE' for generating the fieldcatalog. Just pass the structure to this FM and will return you the fieldcatolog for the structure.
