ESS Display Access

Hi Expert,

I have a scenario where my client needs only ESS display access to all the employees. He don't want employees to change any information on the portal. Is there a way through the authorizations where we can provide only display authorization to the employees to view there personal information,Address etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Are you not using object P_PERNR?

Hi Raj Aitha ,

As Julius said , authorization object P_PERNR allows you to restrict the employees from maintaining self data.

With in the this object you need to maintain the info type field value. Check the below link for details :

Hi,

u must do p_orgin and then go to p_pernr...

reason is simple in p_orgin u set auths for aah u know the fields,... and p_pernr is used primarily to prevent personnel from doing anything to other people's data and be restricted to their own data alone.
