Hi,

Once you have opened SM59 transaction please follow the below steps :

1. Create a new connection by clicking ob create button.

2. Give the RFC destination name. in this case your second SAP system name.

3. Give the connection type as 3 if your second system is R/3.

4. Then you have to give the details for logon (e.g.. Language, user id, password, client)

by following above steps you will create a RFC connection of R/3 type. then click on that connection and login. you will be able to connect the second system.

Regards,

Sourabh

Basically RFC Destination -SM59 will be used to send the data to another SAP system, for that you need to give the target system details like :

1.IP address of the target sap system

2. SAP user id

3. password

4. Language.

It will be used to send data from one system to other system.

in SM59, give the IP address and system number at the u201CTechnical Settingsu201D tab. Move on to the u201CLogon & Securityu201D tab and just give the Logon details of the destination u2013 Language, Client, User, Password.

Check for the selecting from u201CUtilitiesu201D in the Menu Bar -> Test -> u201CConnection Testu201D and u201CAuthorization Testu201D. They should work fine, only then the systems could communicate to sending the data

Regards,

Jyothi CH.

In fact, I ignore the router IP, the connection test is faild.
