Hi all!

I am trym to post a batch from "unrestricted use" status to "restricted" status using the tcode MSC2N, and the system shows me an error:

"Error 15 in posting for status change

Message no. M7661

Diagnosis

When posting the status change, an error occured.

Return code: 15

Procedure

Action to be taken by the system administrator

For a description of the return code, please see the documentation of

the function module MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT. "

Please, does any one have any idea???

check if you have necessary authorizations to change..the status of batchs

after you hit the transaction, see in Transaction SU53.

hI,

Check following error codes and the description this function can return ..If you are getting the return code as 15 check the header data is passed correctly or not.

16               Initialization incorrect
15              Header data incorrect
11              Error when reading material master records per PREFETCH
10              Error when reading material short texts per PREFETCH
08              Allocation of IMSEG to EMSEG incorrect
07              Error when correcting an item
06              Error when creating an item
05              No item generated
04              It is only permitted to post all items; however, there
                    is at least one incorrect item
03              Error when posting the document
02              Allocation of IMSEG to EMSEG incorrect
01              Allocation of YMBUZ to XMSEG incorrect
