Text form Sales Header

Dear all,

I need to fetch the data from Text in Sales do header...

I tried with STXL and STXH .....i need to know how these tables link with Sales.

Use FM Read_text

Refer to this link..

From the Gopi answer in the given link you can get the Text name, Language, Text ID, Text object and pass these to READ_TEXT FM .

hi,

STXH contains the header data for the text .A text for an object is determined uniquely by four fields in STXH TDOBJECT,TDNAME,TDID,TDSPRAS, where object and id will be common for one set of data ,for example for purchase order object is EKKO and ID is F17 for standard text.spras is the langusge name uniquely identifies the data.for example for purchase order standard text name is EBELN values.

u can fetch the text using the function module READ_TEXT and create text using CREATE_TEXT.In case of sales order there will be object ,id and name might be sales order number.

U try executing STXH and try to find names realted to sales for id and object.If text not there then entry wont be there in STXH.

if u debug standard transaction also u will no the displayof text.

Follow the following steps

1 . Goto the va02 ,take a sample sales order

2. now go to the header text tab

3. double clik on the text(notepad) now u can see the MS word window and in that window from menue bar

goto Header

one popup window will appear.

now u will get the text id , text name , and text object

now use the FM READ_TEXT

pass the text id ,text object and then u will get the output through the FM

To use the FM See the documentation available in the FM Read Text (SE37)

Hi,

In Se37 i tried with thsi FM: READ_TEXT

i Entered text id ,text object,Text name ,Language.

In text name i entered Sales Document Number

Even though i am not getting the Values.
