Lookup Table

Hello,

I Have created a custom PA infotype which has one field contained in it.

There is another field defined on the screen only which holds a desciption.

This screen field is populated from a custom look up table.

On certain SAP standard screens whenever a lookup table appears and an

option is chosen the description is automactically populated after the green

tick is pressed.

On my screen I have to press the return key as well.

Does any body have any idea how I get the desciption to be populated

automatically without having to press the return key as well.

This is how we do in custom code:

SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF LINE.
SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT 1(31) text-002.
PARAMETER: p_mat TYPE  mara-matnr.
SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT 55(40) des.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF LINE.


AT SELECTION-SCREEN.
SELECT SINGLE maktx
    FROM makt
    INTO des
    WHERE matnr = p_mat
    AND spras = sy-langu.
  IF p_mat IS INITIAL.
    CLEAR: des.
  ENDIF.

but I am looking at this from screen PA30 and not a selection screen.

you will be needed to find a user exit where you can do as I did for selection screen
