delivery header text with amount

I have a customer 1109877 and header text name dispatch note and there is a text "the amount is $....... Please paid immediately".

I want to know how to get the header text and the text will diplay on the header text in outbound delivery. "the amount is $500.00 Please paid immediately" 500.00 will get in the vbap-netwr.

I already get the text but I want to know how I will insert the amount in the text. I used FM read_text, init_text and save_text. Also take note that this is for the creation of the outbound delivery.

Hi,

For this issue you can use the CONCATENATE . you can take the calculated value into a work field and concatenate the work filed and the texrt element into another work field. and display this work field as header.

After getting the text into a variable say text.


SPLIT text AT '$' INTO text1 text2.
CONCATENATE text1 '$' vbap-netwr text2 INTO text SEPARATED BY space.

Hi,

After getting the text using FM 'READ_TEXT', you split the text at $ and take the text into 2 variables. Then you CONCATENATE these 2 varibale with amount variable.

I already do that but the delivery I created is not updated. The header text is still "the amount is $....... Please paid immediately".

I debug that and I found out the delivery number is temp no($ 1). I make code but this time in sales order the header text in sales order is updated.

I dont know what is the impact in the delivery number temp($ 1).

You need to pass vbap-netwr to a character TYPE variable and then CONCATENATE.

Hi,

For this you should take value of vbap-netwr. into a work field and then concatinate with text element. and check in debugging if the value is coming fine or not.

I think this should work.

I already do all that my problem is the header text "the amount is $....... Please paid immediately". is still appreared when I save the delivery.
