call transaction - get the caller tcode

hi experts,

i have to do some checking in the user exit of ME21n but only when ME21N is called via MD04, if user go ME21N directly then should not trigger this checking. is there any way i can check the caller tcode/program?

i think in MD04, the standard program is using "CALL TRANSACTION" to call tcode ME21N.

Try using Export (statement) in MD04 and Import (statement) in ME21N.

Hi,

You can use SET PARAMETER ID and GET PARAMETER ID statments to pass required data.

hi,

really appreciate for your fast answer, the Export and Import helped me solved the problem.

i tried set / get paremeter id, but it doesnt solved the problem, it can pass the value to ME21N, but when i create another new session and go ME21N directly, it can get the parameter id value as well, so the control become not working anymore...
