Problem with GUI_DOWNLOAD

Hello,

I am trying to download the contents of an internal table into an excel file using GUI_DOWNLOAD. One of the fields in the internal table has a # as content. This is causing data to appear wrongly (with blank rows and all) in the excel file. Any ideas how to get around this issue ?

Hi,

Instead of downloading into EXCEL file, download into .txt using 'ASC' as file type.

Hi Arun,

Try it like this.

CALL FUNCTION 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'

EXPORTING

BIN_FILESIZE =

filename = 'D:\TEMP\FILE3.TXT'

FILETYPE = 'ASC'
APPEND = ' '

write_field_separator = 'X'

TABLES

data_tab = t_accounts

Try giving that field separator if havent used it.

Try using:-


  CALL FUNCTION 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'
    EXPORTING
     FILENAME                        = 'C:/TEST.XLS'
     FILETYPE                        = 'DAT'
     WRITE_FIELD_SEPARATOR           = 'X'
    TABLES
     DATA_TAB                        = ITAB "internal table

this issue occurs whith the integer format. try change the field to char format.

hopefully it works out.

Hi,

Check to downloadin .txt file or You append any zero etc values in to that feilds and try to download same.

The problem was the presence of a line feed character. It is replaced by blank to resolve this
