error while posting through MIGO

hi all,

I am posting a GR through MIGO transaction. This is working fine for small volumes ie 2000 , but when we reciept larger volumes e.g. 10,000 we are getting the error massage "Serial number is locked by User "

wht is the reason for that??

In case of low volume the Database tables are getting updated simultaneously. But in case of large data the database server response is slow and not getting updated thats'why its giving the message serial no is locked by user.

but in development server it is working fine for 8000

and in production server it is only processing 2000 and if we post more than this limit it is giving the error.

Available resources are not same for development & production server. In fact on development server load is less because of less user logged in, less data and reports are executed faster. Hope this will help u in understanding.

Just ask u r functional consultant to extend the serial number limit.
