Sm30 - add foreign key description fields

I created a custom table and generated the table maintenance screens. I would like now to include descriptions of 2 key fields when the user enters data. For instance a field is matnr. I would like to select on makt and bring up the description for the user to view.

How do I do this?

Hi Janet,

For this you need to generate a table maintenance generator from SE11 for your custom table and then will have to modify the dialog program which gets generated as part of this table maintenance generator

you need to create the text table and assign it to the table which you have created.
