hi, all:

when i sucessed migrate SAP 4.71 from AIX 5.1 to AIX 5.3 which is a new IBM server P550, I found a strange issue. After each two days, SAP service is down , I have to excute startsap command to restart SAP service . I excute SM21, I found many error : "signal 33 received by operating system

" indetail : caller ........ sigIGen , Reason/called ......signal " " due to special circumstances ( for example, storage overwritten), the current process has received a signal from the operating system and its signal handling routine has been invoked. for security reasons this process is terminated. A dump is written which shows the error context.

how to resolve, hurry!

Well I am not expert on this but could find this for you.

Only Error Signal is changed you have 33 other Guy had it 11 .

I know I am posting to an old question, but I am just doing for others how may be looking for an answer.

This is because of the lack of page space of the OS. Increasing the paging space will solve the issue.
