Closing Modal Screen Issue

Hi Experts,

I have an issue in closing the modal screen using the small 'X' at the right top corner of the screen. If I click the toolbar cancel button I am able to close the screen. But when I use ALT+F4 or click on the 'X' the screen does not close. Can someone tell me where am I going wrong.

Hope u assigend a GUI status for modal screen of type modal status.

in Function Keys...

Give the function code for the 'X' button . And the same function code for ALT+F4 .

Hi,

The following two are available on the modal screen by default. It is a standard functionality.

On the modal screen, there is a small 'X' - close button, at the top right corner of the screen. Also there is a menu available by default that says 'Move' 'Close ALT+ F4' 'Create Session' and 'Stop Transaction'.

The close button at top and the alt + f4 should trigger an event PAI. This is not happening. I have a pf-status tool bar button for cancel. When I click that button, the code at PAI for closing the window is called.

Defina a Pf-status for modal screen.

Go to Pf-status and assign a function code for Cancel Button.

the issue is only when i use a new pf-status for my modal screen. The issue got solved when I used the same pf-status and excluded the buttons.
