Hi Experts,

I am making an RFC call from ECC system to a function module in CRM system.

But whenever it tries to call a remote FM the system prompts for User ID and Password.

The RFC connection has been established and if the user ID password is provided then the FM is called perfectly.

The issue is, I do not want the system to prompt for password details every time the RFC call is made.

Also if the RFC call is made by some background task it ends into error because of the same reason.

Please let me know the configuration/code required to avoid such an issue.

Regards,

Saumya

Hi,

In SM59 Check if Radio button for Trusted System is YES (Selected). Then it should not ask even after that if it asks then provide the password in Logon details in Logon and Security Tab available in SM59 for your Destination System.

Thanks,

Prashanth

Edited by: Prashanth KR on Feb 11, 2009 12:13 PM

As others have suggested, check the logon data for the RFC destination using SM59.

The other related thing that you might check is to go to su01 and see if maybe the user is locked.

This could happen if there have been unsuccessfil logins for example.

Regards

Greg Kern
