Userexit checking

I add a logic in userexit "ZXM06U43", when the logic match, the Po will dispaly error message and cannot be saved. The error message I can add, But the PO also can be saved when choose Hold document. How can I set the PO cannot be saved in terms of cannot generate a PO number. Thanks!

You mean to say if user selects HOLD you are not getting the PO number and how to raise message? is it right, if so you have to find some other exit or implicit enhancment or BADI for this requirement.

Acutally, I don't want user can hold or save PO when the error occurs. Thanks!
