ALV Screen Dynamic Size

Hello All,

I created an ALV report by using cl_gui_alv_grid class and a custom container by using cl_gui_custom_container.

I wonder if it is possible to set the custom container size to the screen size, I want to make the custom container as big as the user´s screen resolution allows...is it possible?....I have checked but I still havent found how to do it.....

Create a Container which can occupy the full screen.

Set the Resizing property on the container.

Hello....

I already did it...but i whant to avoid the double scroll is generated because some user´s resolution is less than others...so I want to set the container´s size depending on it....any ideas??

The question is how can I get the size of the container´s parent? is it possible??

Another possible way is

Create a docking container and allocate the size then call you container inside this docking container.

Dear Gabriel:

I faced the same issue: Trying to avoid the double scrollbars when the OO ALV is shown in a low resolution screen.

It's as easy to solve as difficult to find.

Go to the dynpro where you have the Custom Container. At screen painter, set the resizing vertical horizontal attributes of the Custom Container. Set the minimum column and row to a small value.
